Celebrating the New Year - Giveaway!

Before I left to San Francisco I promised to bring you back something special... So we stopped by this dreamy creative shop called 'Tail of the Yak'
every little corner had something that inspired me.
Even their gold logo on their boxes were special~ The Christmas angel made of hay greeted me from the window I couldn't wait to get inside, so I rang the bell to enter. And got my hands on something sweet & special for one of YOU! I had them wrap it with their pretty bow & a little pink mushroom from Germany.
Inside is a decorative ornate stone-like block. BUT, this isn't just decorative, little did I know, It's made of TEA!
Compressed tea that holds the aroma of fine black tea.
They told me you break off a piece and brew it just like any other tea.
So I got one for one of YOU and one for me!
Hold on... I have more for YOU...
Since we're coming into the New Year, I thought a 2010 Calender would be nice!
This is an exclusive 'Tail of the Yak' poster calender.
I hope you have a place for it and have room for tea~
The winner will be announced New Years Day!!!
Just leave a comment and mention a favorite shop of YOURS that INSPIRES YOU!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to sharing the New Year with you!

How cool is that! A block of tea? never heard of such a thing but its the best idea. I love Eons on Pittsburgh. Its the best vintage store in the world and inspires me to hunt down vintage patters and fabrics, and set to sewing. Not that I'm any good at it but I dream. Happy new Year!

What a fabulous find you made on your trip! The store looks so very interesting, and your giveaway is terrific. Stores that inspire, hmmm?
I live in AZ in the winter and the store here would be Paris Envy. When I'm in Montana for the summer - the store there would Red Neck Chic. They are both great stores with fabulous stuff!

Enjoy the rest of the year,

Jo

Your Majesty,

Once again, Happy Birthday! How touching you thinking of us, as usual, on your birthday week. This just shows how humble you truly are:) This little store is one I would love to visit!!! Everything is so to die for! Amazing the block of tea, and so creative the Angel of hay. You must have been in heaven just seeing all of their treasures!! One of my favorite little boutiques, aside from gorgeous Parisienne inspired blogs, is in my wonderful state of New Jersey, in a town called Cliffside Park called "Dickens". Every time I go in there I never want to come out! They have beautiful treasures and findings, paintings, tufted stools and charming lockets. I could just go on and on. I will see if the owner will allow me to take Pics so that I can show all of you!!! Your blog of course is a major treasure and I wish you the very best New Year!!

Royal wishes,
Daisy
