Oh, it is so nice having Christmas at your own house. Up until we bought a house 4 years ago, I always flew home to the east coast for Christmas. But then we started having Christmas here and I love it, having our own celebration, although I miss my faraway family terribly. Next year I will go home again and hope to alternate more in the future - my family, David's family and then OUR house. I love that most of all, even if it means we have to do all the prep work!! Something about sharing your own home...
